These past days I’ve been renting the Star Wars DVDs to see all of them again. I’ve been wanting to do that ever since I saw “Revenge Of The Sith” in Jordan, and I’m glad I did.
It was great seeing the whole series again, now that it’s over. I saw the old movies a long time ago in my childhood and my memory was starting to fail me on a lot of details. It was so cool seeing them again, rediscovering them and seeing all the pieces falling into place again.
What amazes me the most in the old movies is how great the quality of the animation is, even though it was done a long time ago in the 70s and early 80s.
The feeling of continuity between the new movies and the older ones is fascinating too.
After seeing all the movies, I think my favourites now are “Return of the Jedi” and “Revenge of the Sith”. I guess it’s because of the action, excitement, suspense in them.
Bravo to George Lucas for this masterpiece.
He truly made cinematic history with these movies.
I never understood all this passion for STAR WARS! never felt interested in any episod.. May be i’m not enough dreamy, but it doesn’t reflect reality.. gonna try to see one of them pr me sentir moins ignorante!:)
:-O I dare you speak such words about StAr WaRs?! It must be the dark-side speaking. haha! ๐
No doubt Return of the Jedi and Revenge of the Sith are the best Star Wars episodes, because of their darkness I guess.
Troubadour, ne t’inqui
Ce n’est jamais normal n’aimer pas les Star Wars.
Troubadour, it’s ok, a lot of girls don’t seem to enjoy Star Wars and science fiction in general, my wife included.
When we went to see Star Wars Episode III in the cinema, my brothers in law and I were enjoying every second while Eman and my older brother-in-law’s wife fell asleep, loool…
Jenn, nah, she’s not from the dark side, she’s just from another galaxy farther farther away ๐
Houssein, yeah maybe that’s what made them stand out for me, the darkness.
