MBC4

In response to the launch and success of One TV, the guys at MBC have redefined their Channel 2 as the first free 24h/24 movie channel and launched MBC4 to group a bunch of imported sitcoms, soap operas, talk shows and news shows.

By doing this they’ve made both channels more interesting to watch. And aside One TV they’ve made leaving the couch in front of the TV a harder task to accomplish.

I especially enjoy the variety of sitcoms available now.
And it’s nice when I catch a movie here or there that I haven’t watched already or that I feel like seeing again.

  4. Hi all, from what i know mbc234 channels were taken off analogue from East africa about a year now. On digital u can catch tv one. Our hope is the launch of a new satellite BADR 6 by arabsat at the end of the year. Am from Uganda. If there is any other news please lets update one an other.

  5. Hi. Does anyone know what the song is that they use in the Noor commercial on mbc4? I’ve tried searching for it but I can’t find it. I know a female singer sings it and that she says: “I’ve been thinking so much about you, I’ve been staring at the wall, hopelessly dreaming about you, and I can’t get through this at all” or something like that.
    It’s driving me crazy!

Hi, i wanted to kow what is goin on with mbc4 and this lame soap called noor, i mean come oon before this stupid soap the programs that were aired on mbc4 were far way better, besides whenever you watch mbc4 it’s showing NOOR with an arabic language, what ever happened to the cool sitcoms and other entertaining programs like for example so you think you can dance and etc…It’s noor 24/7, it makes me wanna puke, plz cut the soap and air it on an arabic language channel like lol mbc1.

If it’s true that you have passion for entertainment(soaps, drammas, movies etc), then your redundunt c band dish can have the answer to it all. There is a new Channel on Nss 7 from Ghana. It’s really good. You better try it out because its FTA. The details are:

  42. MMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmm,,, Long Tyme, David and all.

    GTV came and left. I am still in Nairobi, and for all those people asking about MBC1-2 and Dubai One, From East Africa, actually Southern Sudan, you cannot be able to receive this channel all the way to South Africa, you camnnot receive any of these channels as their beams are targeted to the Middle East.

    BADR 2c is now off air and I have not received their replacement.

    But there are some good C-band channels out there, SABC123, ETV, French channels, etc, CNN.

    In you are looking for movies, the new channel on NSS7 a subsidiary of Viacom broadcasting from Ghana is the way to go. You also get CNN here.
