“The only thing worse than an asshole is a nice asshole!”
Me
This is something I said today and just thought I’d share here.
Really if there’s anything in this world that is worse than some asshole pissing you off constantly, it’s having a nice asshole do it, he pisses you off with a smile and in a weird friendly way.
It just adds to the frustration when you feel like smashing his head in while he just smiles back at you and acts like he’s your friend.
So, to every nice asshole on earth: Choose sides! Either you’re an asshole or you’re nice! Don’t piss us off even more by trying to be both…
Christopher Reeve, the star of the “Superman” movies, died Sunday of heart failure, his publicist said. He was 52.
A near-fatal riding accident nine years ago paralyzed him and turned him into a worldwide advocate for spinal cord research.
Reeve had a severely infected pressure wound, which is a common ailment among paralysed people.
Christopher Reeve will always be thought of as Superman by me and millions of other people all around the world.
He is the man of steel.
R.I.P. Superman…
My brother in law Mohamed decided to pass by Tunisia on his way to Jordan from Toronto, Canada. He got here this past Saturday afternoon.
I actually haven’t seen him for over 2 years, and it’s great to be able to meet again and catch up on all that’s happened during this time.
It’s so cool to have him over. He’s one of the most fun people to hang out with, we’ve been having loads of fun and laughs since he got here, lol.
His advice is also priceless.
It’s really helping me with some issues I have floating around in my head nowadays.
It’s a shame he won’t be staying much this time as he’ll be moving on to Jordan and then going back to Canada quickly.
Anyway, he seems to like Tunisia a lot, and hopefully he’ll be coming back for a longer visit next time ๐
When he does we’ll have a really cool tour of Tunisia planned for him, including the locations where they shot Star Wars in the south of Tunisia.

I just uploaded some photos I took at sunset on the beach and in the port of Sidi Bou Said, one of the places I love most in Tunisia.
I’m quite happy with how some of these pics have turned out.
If you’re interested, check them out here.
Do let me know what you think ๐
While thinking of my different hobbies and all the stuff I truly enjoy, I found out they weren’t really that different after all. They all revolve around the art of storytelling.
Being a book fan, every book tells a different story, takes you different places, paints different worlds, picks you up out of reality and throws you into a beautiful world of imagination.
As for music, every song tells a new story too, new events, new ways to express the feelings, new feelings to express the meaning.
In cinema, every movie is a story, it portrays a world for you to live during the length of the movie, a set of new characters to know, an idea it tries to pass, a life it’s trying to show you.
When it comes to photography, every photo captures a moment, a moment from a life, from a story, stimulating your imagination to pick up the bits and pieces in that picture and construct the story your own way.
And it goes on and on for every other hobby of mine.
Actually, I think every form of art is nothing but another way of telling a story and another way of passing it’s idea.
So I’d like to think of myself as a fan of the art of storytelling in all it’s forms and colors. I love being told stories and I love telling stories too.
“Everybody’s worried about stopping terrorism. Well, there’s a really easy way: stop participating in it.”
— Noam Chomsky
“We all have to be concerned about terrorism, but you will never end terrorism by terrorizing others.”
— Martin Luther King III
“Because I do it with one small ship, I am called a terrorist. You do it with a whole fleet and are called an emperor.”

… Beslan, endless kidnappings in Iraq and the barbaric decapitation of aid workers and other civilians have forced Muslim leaders into a new activism.
In France, since the kidnapping of two journalists in Iraq, Muslims of influence have pushed their people to embrace French nationhood even though there are serious conflicts between them and their state….
The Muslim Association of Britain has issued straight statements condemning the inhumane hostage-taking by Muslims worldwide.
But only if there is reciprocity. Muslims have put their lives and reputations on the line to save Mr Bigley and others. The allies hold thousands of Muslims in illegal incarceration; they are tortured and killed too….
Where are the “official” Christian delegations to protect Muslim victims in Afghanistan, Iraq, Guantanamo Bay? Why do our baying newspapers not call for these faith communities to condemn the savagery perpetrated by the allies?..
