    If only people knew better

    I’m not sure how many people actually contemplate this…surely this isn’t mirrored in the number of responses…

    قال عز وجل: ﴿قل هل يستوي الذين يعلمون والذين لا يعلمون﴾
    عَن أبي الدَّرداءِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عنهُ قالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلَّى اللهُ عليْه وسلَّمَ يَقُولُ

    مَن سَلَكَ طَرِيْقَاَ يَبْتَغِي فِيْهِ عِلْمَاً سَهَّلَ اللهُ لهُ طَرِيْقَاً إلى الجَنَّة وإنَّ المَلائِكَةَ لَتَضَعُ أجْنِحَتَهَا لِطَالِبِ العِلْمِ رِضَاً بِما يَصْنَعُ وَ إنَّ العَالِمَ لَيَسْتَغفِرُ لهُ مَن في السَّمواتِ ومَن في الأرضِ حَتَّى الحِيْتَانُ في المَاءِ وفَضْلُ العَالِمِ عَلى العَابِدِ كَفَضلِ القَمَرِ على سَائِرِ الكَوَاكِبِ وإنَّ العُلَماءِ وَرَثَةُ الأنبِيْاءِ وإنَّ الأنبِيْاءَ لمْ يُوَرَثُوا دِيْناراً ولا دِرْهَمَاً وَ إنَّما وَرَّثُوا العِلْمَ فَمَنْ أَخَذَهُ أخَذَ بِحَظٍ وَافِرٍ
    I’ve heard the 7adeeth before but couldn’t find it’s origin or the authenticity of it,but anyways I believe the message is right. we need Jihad to protect our lands, but only knowledge can protect our existence! we might be weak and loose a battle,but if we are fully knowledgable of the truth we won’t loose the war.Jihad can open lands for you but only education (and faith ofcourse) can open the minds and hearts of the mass. building a nation needs both Destruction and Construction. but even in the destruction level you need to be well educated and aware of what you are doing,it’s not just fight.and even in the in the in construction level you don’t get rid of your arms!. we need both! but if I have to pick one I’ll pick knowledge,because without it you might be fighting yourself and do harm more than good unintentially.
    just a thought I wanted to share
